The program is credit-worthy for subsistence and tuition fees at the Student Education Fund (Menntasjóður námsmanna). Trade union education funds often provide scholarships for study. Get more information from your union.

The tourism studies program is theoretical and practical, but a study trip is taken in the third year. Teaching takes place on campus.

All 1st year courses are compulsory, while there are compulsory and elective courses in the other years. There is no formal final assignment (BS), but students work on a large assignment in the third year in connection with a study trip.

After graduation

Upon completion of the study program, it is possible to work as a tourism expert. The BS exam also offers the possibility of postgraduate studies at university level.
